Re-Enchantment Reading #02

Our second reading. Hosted at Bàrd Bookshop in East London. We heard readings from:
- Cillian Sheehan: Cillan grew up in Ireland and now lives in London. Two of his plays were performed by the Graffiti Theatre Company in Cork.
- Charlotte Geater: Charlotte is a writer based in east London. She won the 2018 White Review Poets' Prize and her poetry has been published in The Poetry Review and Blackbox Manifold.
- Inigo Laguda: Inigo is a Yoruba-British writer and musician from Hertfordshire. He received a special commendation for The Guardian & 4th Estate 2021 Prize and is an alumnus of the 2022/2023 London Library Emerging Writers Programme. He is working on his debut short story collection.
- Kaisa Saarinen: Kaisa is a former feral farmgirl now based in London. Her publications include one novel (Weather Underwater, 2023) and two hybrid collecitons of poetry + short fiction (Voideuse, 2022 & Maitonaut, 2024). She is currently working on a research-based art project about rubber.
- Kate Bugos: Kate is a feminist historian and writer in London. She is one of the co-organisers of Reenchantment and is currently working on launching a new feminist pamphlet press this summer.
This event was a fundraiser for Maram, a young woman in Gaza raising funds to evacuate her and her family.
