About Us

Re-enchantment is a literary collective based out of London, UK. We host live readings, discussions, workshops, and write-with-us sessions on a regular basis.
Founded in 2024, we wanted to create a space where writers could come together in solidarity with one another at a time when the UK is facing massive cuts to arts funding and creative disciplines are being consistently undervalued.
For us, re-enchantment meant rejecting a world centred on cynicism, irony, and capitalist motivation, and instead embracing human connection and radical sincerity. Applying these values to literature when arts and media jobs are being cut, publishers are closing, and the creative industries are saturated by AI generated content felt like a way of fighting back while also creating a community for writers and other creatives.
Our live readings occur every few months and feature poetry, prose and essays from all genres. We welcome writers of all backgrounds and levels of experience to submit.
